Caleigh Parsons is a visual artist based in Dothan, Alabama, who began her art practice in 2021. She considers herself a lifelong art lover and a midlife art maker. Parsons paints intuitively with mixed media on canvas, wood, and paper. Visually, she has always been drawn to contrasting composition and colors. "When I paint, I am compelled to combine the unexpected, even if it doesn't make sense - because that's what makes sense to me."

The artist grew up in North Alabama and attended The University of Alabama. She is the co-founder and Vice President of Art in Public Places, co-founder of Alabama Roots Fine Arts Show, and founder of the former art collective The Untrained Edit. Her work has been seen at the Loyola Art Show, the Harding Art Show, as well as numerous other public events and exhibitions.
