Laurie Buck is a Southern artist whose vibrant abstract florals are rooted in childhood summers spent in the countryside of northern Florida alongside her grandmother, an avid gardener. This early connection to the land continues to shape her exploration of light, color, and natural form. 

Influenced by Impressionism and Abstract Expressionism, Buck allows each composition to evolve organically, embracing the energy and movement of nature. Through her work, she highlights the beauty and tranquility that can emerge from apparent chaos. She paints full time at White Whale Studios near downtown Greenville, South Carolina, and her work is held in private collections and exhibited in galleries across the United States and beyond.
