Porter Rivers' inspiration comes from the architectural details of southern homes, rolling farm hills, and river banks he grew up surrounded by in loves interacting with 

Porter Rivers’ inspiration is rooted in the architectural charm of Southern homes, the rolling farm hills, and the riverbanks of his hometown, Selma, Alabama. A lifelong lover of drawing and creative expression, his passion for painting was sparked during a freshman art class at Samford University—where he also met his wife, Emily. Though he went on to complete a degree in business, Porter continued painting as a cherished pursuit throughout college.

Today, his work spans watercolor home portraits, acrylic landscapes, live wedding paintings, and original abstract pieces. At the heart of his art is the desire to preserve memories in color and to connect meaningfully with each client.

Porter and Emily, an interior designer, now call Birmingham home.
